I used to go here all the time growing up! Kind of a hole in the wall quaint little place but good quality sushi! I think it has become a little more expensive throughout the years! They have a lot of amazing specialty rolls! The mikado roll and Mexican roll are amazing! Some of the raw rolls i got did not look the best this time but still were delicious! Not my favorite sushi restaurant in town but will still go back! Everyone is usually very nice and helpful when there and when ordering to go!

Sushi is always fresh and rolls are good quality. I do takeout more often and everything is packaged efficiently and still warm when I get it. Really have no complaints

Excellent food!! Our go to in Orlando for some sushi. They always have the freshest fish and ingredients! We almost always get their Chirashi and nigiri moriawase. Highly recommend!!

The food and service is really good. The restaurant is nice, good for dates or a fancier hangout spot. I tried the Golden California Roll and the Spicy Scallop Roll, I liked both equally and would get them again next time I come.

Tucked away discreetly, it might not catch your eye from the outside, but step inside and you'll find yourself in a modern yet cozy oasis. On a recent visit, every table was buzzing with patrons, and the to-go area was bustling with orders, creating a lively atmosphere. Our server was outstanding. He offered great recommendations and checked on us regularly, ensuring a positive dining experience without being intrusive. Now, let's talk about the food--wow! We kicked it off with the seaweed salad and the spicy krab meat salad. Then we had the Drama Queen and Out of Control rolls which were absolute winners --bursting with flavors and perfectly balanced proportions of filling to rice. Considering the quality and generous portions of the food, the prices were more than fair. This spot delivers on every front--from top-notch service to a vibrant atmosphere and outstanding sushi. I can't wait to be back and explore more of the menu.

Will be back! As others have said this location is very authentic, like nothing I've had since being to Japan! Everything is prepared to perfection, the fish is mild, and the meat is so tender it melts in your mouth.

We visited Mikado on a Friday night. We had a reservation, so we were seated almost immediately. It's really dark in there, but the seats were fairly comfortable and it wasn't super loud. We started with an edamame, then I got a hand roll and a chirashi. The edamame weren't a super strong start for me. I felt that they didn't have much flavor beyond the spice. I would've loved something else in the flavor profile. The hand roll was a seasonal item and it was amazing. I honestly wish I would've had 3 of them. The chirashi was great, but it wasn't served as cold as I would've liked. It might be all in my head, but I prefer my chirashi very cold. The sake I got was also very good. The waitress was very attentive and very good at her job. I felt that she made great recommendations too. Would I go back to Mikado? Honestly I'm not sure. The food was great, and the service was awesome, but I think that there are a lot of really good sushi places down here, and mikado felt a little expensive for the food that we got.

We were visiting family and went to this restaurant for the first time. Clean and spacious. We ordered several rolls: Seaweed salad Mango tango Godzilla Thai Pham Crunchy roll Rainbow roll Hot mama Drama queen Fried ice cream Service was great! Our waitress was very friendly and informative. Very reasonably priced as well! Will definitely be back when in the area.

This is my father and I's go-to spot for our monthly get-togethers! I've been here over 5 times now, and I truly love this place. It's such a hidden gem! The sushi is consistently fresh, flavorful, and filling! The menu offers an incredible variety as well! The service has always been top-notch, super friendly, and comfortable. The restaurant is always clean and has such a charming vibe. I also love sitting at the sushi bar and admiring the chefs hard at work!
